My name is Warren Zinns - owner, operator and founder of Outdoor Stewards.

My story as a gardener / landscaper began when I was a teenager doing odd-job yard work around Bellingham, WA throughout my high school years. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University, I moved down to the San Francisco Bay Area to begin a career in real estate.

Many valuable years flew by doing marketing, selling properties and remodeling outdoor spaces with a family owned residential remodeling company named Golden Road, Inc. This helped lead me towards my passion for outdoor stewardship, and with that I transitioned to a full time position for two years with a high end garden maintenance company in the East Bay Area. These years are what cemented my love for gardening and landscaping to maintain the beauty of outdoor living spaces.

Thus it was time to return home to Bellingham, Washington in 2025 and provide my professional landscaping service under my own company Outdoor Stewards. I am working towards the point where can Outdoor Stewards can provide full scale outdoor remodels with all new hardscapes, water features, fences and anything else you could think of.

For now, I provide professional and trustworthy garden and lawn maintenance, garden design and restoration, shrub & tree pruning, fertilization, irrigation tech, planting projects, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and any other tasks that my equipment will allow.
